ABOUT SAGC 2025
The 2nd Southern African Geotechnical Conference will be hosted by the Geotechnical Division of the South African Institution of Civil Engineering (SAICE) under the auspices of the International Society for Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (ISSMGE).
The sub-regional conference will provide a forum for exchanging, disseminating and discussing current geotechnical practice in Southern Africa as well as sharing information of recent projects and developments.
Following the highly successful inaugural conference held in 2016 at Sun City, the Organising Committee is thrilled to bring the Southern African geotechnical community together once again for this landmark event, hosted by the Geotechnical Division of the South African Institution of Civil Engineering (SAICE) under the auspices of the International Society for Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (ISSMGE).
